How Much Does a Custom Creator Website or Link Hub Cost in 2026?
A free link tree costs nothing and does very little. A custom link hub costs more and does a lot more. Here is what drives the price, what to watch out for, and exactly what MAXXXSITES charges.
"How much does a website cost?" has the same answer as "how much does a car cost?" It depends on what you are buying. A free link page, a custom link hub, and a full fan site with members and payments are completely different projects.
Here is a straightforward breakdown of what creators typically pay for, what drives the price, and the costs that tend to show up later.

The main options
| Option | What you get | How it is usually priced | The tradeoff |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free link in bio tool | A stack of buttons on a shared domain | Free, with paid upgrades | Looks like everyone else, on a rented URL |
| Paid link in bio plan | More themes, custom domain support, analytics | Monthly subscription | Still a template, still their platform |
| DIY site builder | A full site assembled from templates | Monthly subscription plus your time | Lots of your time, often slow and generic |
| Custom link hub | A one page site designed and coded for you, on your domain | A one time build or a monthly plan | Costs more than free, built around your brand |
| Custom fan site, store, or app | Members areas, video, stores, custom tools | Scoped per project | A bigger investment with bigger capability |
Most creators start in the first row and move to a custom link hub once their traffic is worth protecting.
What drives the price of a custom build
- Scope. A single link hub page is a small project. Video hosting, members areas, and stores are much bigger.
- Design depth. Custom artwork, motion, and interactions take more time than a simple layout.
- Content. Who writes the copy, prepares the photos, and organizes the links.
- Integrations. Payments, analytics, email signups, and age verification all add work.
- Ongoing changes. Whether updates are included, billed per change, or not offered at all.
Hidden costs to watch for
Before you agree to any price, get clear answers on:
- The domain. Who registers it, whose name it is in, and what it costs to renew each year.
- Hosting. Whether it is included, and what happens to your site if you stop paying.
- Changes. What it costs to swap a link, add a platform, or update a photo.
- Ownership. Whether you receive the design and code, or the site only exists while you pay.
- Platform fees. Some builders take a cut of sales made through them.
None of these are bad by themselves. They just need to be clear upfront, in writing.
What MAXXXSITES charges
I keep pricing simple and published. For a custom link hub, meaning a single link in bio page designed and coded from scratch, there are two options:
- Link Hub Monthly Plan: $49 USD a month. Includes your custom link hub build, hosting, your custom domain for the first year, and ongoing changes and updates. No minimum term: month to month, paid upfront, cancel anytime. If payment stops, the site comes down.
- One time link hub: $399 USD. A single payment for your custom link hub plus your domain, with two revision rounds, launch help, and the agreed source code after final payment. Hosting for one time builds is arranged separately, and optional website care is $29 USD a month for small changes and a monthly site check.
Paying in a major cryptocurrency takes 5% off either option, which brings the monthly plan to $46.55 USD and the one time build to $379.05 USD.
Agencies get per model pricing that drops as the roster grows, from $49 down to $42 USD a month per model. The full table is on the agencies page. Fan sites, stores, members areas, and custom apps are scoped separately.
You can run the numbers yourself on the pricing estimator.
Monthly or one time?
| Monthly plan | One time build | |
|---|---|---|
| Upfront | $49 USD for the first month | $399 USD |
| Hosting | Included | Arranged separately |
| Changes and updates | Included | Optional care at $29 USD a month |
| Domain | Included for the first year | Included with the build, registered to you |
| Ownership | The site stays live while the plan is active | The agreed source code is yours after final payment |
| Best for | Creators who want it all handled | Creators who want to own everything outright |
If you change your links often and never want to think about hosting, the monthly plan is usually the better fit. If you want to own the code and manage things yourself, the one time build makes more sense.
Frequently asked questions
Can I pay in crypto?
Yes. Paying in a major cryptocurrency takes 5% off the monthly plan or any build. The USD amount is fixed at the time of sending, crypto payments are non refundable, and the sender pays network fees.
Do I own my site on the monthly plan?
The monthly plan keeps your site built, hosted, and updated while it is active, and if payment stops, the site comes down. If you want the agreed source code, the one time build hands it over after final payment.
Are there any extra fees?
Pricing is published on the pricing page. Anything beyond a single link hub page, such as a store or members area, is scoped and agreed in writing before any work begins.
Is a custom site worth it?
A link page is only worth paying for if it earns more than it costs. The math is simple: if a better page helps even a few extra visitors subscribe each month, it usually pays for itself. If your traffic is still tiny, a free tool is fine for now.
The easiest way to decide is to see the difference. Request a free mockup and I will design a private homepage for your brand, free to request and with no obligation. If you like it, we talk about the plan that fits. If not, you have lost nothing. You can also see real builds, like the creator link hub at trevv.link, in the receipts on the homepage.
